Asana popularised modern task management — and put your data on US servers. Conecct gives you boards, sections, and subtasks in a platform that also covers chat, mail, and calendar.
Asana is a US-listed company hosted on AWS and subject to the CLOUD Act. For European businesses managing sensitive project data — customer files, hiring pipelines, internal strategy — that's no longer comfortable, especially post-Schrems II. Pricing is the second issue: Asana Business starts at $24.99 per user/month and only gets you task management — you still need Slack for chat, Outlook for mail, and a separate vacation tool. Conecct bundles all of those.

Asana
Asana has been around since 2008 and offers deep features around portfolio management, workload balancing, automated workflows, and goals — features Conecct doesn't have today. If you coordinate 200+ people across departments and need capacity reporting and goal cascading, Asana is the more mature option. Conecct targets teams up to ~100 that want to execute operational work without reporting overhead.

Asana exports projects as CSV or JSON. We help map the data onto Conecct tasks: project → project, section → section, task → task, subtask → subtask, comments preserved. Attachments need manual transfer (Asana doesn't give API access without Enterprise). Typical pace: a 50-person team is fully migrated in 3–5 days. FAQ
Not as of May 2026. Conecct ships with a Kanban board, sections, a calendar with event overview, and due-date filtering — but no classic Gantt chart. It's on the H2/2026 roadmap.
Yes, via the CSV/JSON export. We build a mapping script per migration; small projects (< 10) take an hour or two, larger ones a weekend. For pilot customers we do it free of charge.
Conecct doesn't have custom fields on tasks (as of May 2026). We recommend modelling common fields as tags (e.g. use built-in Low/Medium/High/Urgent tags instead of a custom priority field). For deeply structured tasks, Asana remains the better tool.
Exactly that's the point. If your team currently runs Asana for tasks AND Slack for chat AND Google Calendar AND a separate vacation tool: Conecct replaces all four under one login. If Asana alone suits you, stay there.
